Our stay was truly memorable, especially in Cabin #4, where the proximity to Lake Superior created an incredible atmosphere. The interior was charming with its knotty pine, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. However, we did experience some discomfort due to the mattresses, which could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway surrounded by nature and just a short drive from local attractions.

We had a wonderful time at the resort, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Superior right from our cabin. The surrounding nature created a peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely place to relax. While there were some issues with Wi-Fi and water pressure, the overall experience was still enjoyable, especially with the clean cabin and cozy common areas available for gathering. The value for money is apparent, but improvements could be made in the amenities offered.

I appreciated the flexibility of a one-night stay, which allowed us to enjoy a rustic experience with a cozy cabin-like room. While the cabin vibe was charming, the overall condition of the space wasn't ideal with weak water pressure and some maintenance issues. The beautiful setting near Lake Superior added value to our stay, though other aspects left room for improvement.

The Solbakken was a convenient choice for our one-night stay, especially since many places had two-night minimums. The rustic atmosphere added charm, but the weak water pressure and the tiny bathroom were drawbacks. Overall, it suited our needs for a short trip, but those looking for more modern comforts might want to look elsewhere.
Rooms

The room was cozy with a unique rustic charm, featuring eclectic furniture and a kitchenette. The small size and weak water pressure were not ideal, but it provided the basics we needed for our one-night stay.

I had an interesting stay at Solbakken. While I appreciated the lack of a minimum stay requirement, I found the room to be quite rustic and a bit smaller than expected. The low water pressure in the bathroom was a drawback, but it was adequate for a quick shower. The view from the deck was lovely, but the gas leak issue during my stay put a damper on things, leading to some inconvenience. Overall, it's a unique spot, but not without its quirks.
